I do not understand this Democratic congress. Do they not feel this complete 'lack' of approval is based upon their actions?
The approval rating on the previous congress was only 10 pts higher and that was based on their actions.
If I can't be a republican, because I have a soul. If the Democratic party has no 'stones', what is a person supposed to do/become? ...... Canadian? Libertarian?

I know what you mean. I am already a Canadian citizen through my mom, so I ruled that out. Libertarians (right-wing ones) are usually better than typical republicans, but their unregulated capitalism is deadly. I joined the IWW. That was my solution. I don't regret for a second.
interesting...why the IWW and not the AFL-CIO?
The IWW wants to do away with capitalism, the AFL-CIO wants to make it more bearable. The AFL-CIO is top heavy, while the IWW is run from the bottom up. You can join the IWW even if your workplace isn't unionized or even if you don't have a job. The IWW is worldwide. Corporations are going global, workers must as well.
The AFL-CIO used to be run from the bottom up...
